f you've seen the ads everywhere and for "The Inside" that could be forgiven for expecting a semistupid, semi-sweet comedy semioffensive Guy. It is quite possible that Imagine Entertainment and Universal Pictures want to wait for that. Stars of the film, Vince Vaughn and Kevin James (of "Couples Retreat," "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" and others) seem to smile all the shelters and bus display, promising strong and turbulent winter Jinks high for Movie fans have grown to love, or at least tolerate.
Promotional clips released last year has caused offense because it contained homophobic jokes, gags and lame - something not sexually specific "Gaynes" of electric cars - are still in the film with the usual exaggeration has ensured that the two main characters, which love each other dearly and whose love has been tested in difficult conditions, not gay. But the "Dilemma," written by Allan Loeb and director Ron Howard - hardly a name associated with frat-boy yukfests - not quite what it seems. And 'less macho comedy of what might be called bromantic melodrama, a beer Weep quite unabashed, sports, fistfights and cars to calm him-smelling men in the audience that the tears ... Well, you know.
Still, "Dilemma" is not entirely abandon the trappings of a comedy. Mr. Vaughn speaks quickly, and shares his way of some moderately funny if not terribly original pieces, including a toast and a few conference presentations awkward energy. Mr. James, overshadowed by the larger body of his companion, and a smaller superego, sneaks in a few double takes and moves Gleasonesque. Channing Tatum, looking positively Petite in this society, to promote a raging Freakout or two, and Queen Latifah is instead to ensure that the pale males do not monopolize the fun.
